The Cooperstown Graduate Program is turning 50 and it's time to celebrate! Find the schedule of festivities here:

 

Friday, October 10

Opening Reception -6:00PM

Thaw Pavilion, Glimmerglass Opera House

Please join us at the Glimmerglass Festival’s Thaw Pavilion for an elegant Welcome Cocktail Reception, and enjoy a savory and delicious hors d’oeuvre buffet. Meet and greet with classmates, faculty, and friends of CGP as we kick off the weekend!

 

Saturday, October 11

CGP Building Tours -9:00AM to 5:00PM

The CGP building will be open and available to guests all day. Student-led tours of the building will be available. Feel free to use it as a quiet place to mingle with old and new friends, while enjoying some light refreshments, coffee, and tea.

 

CGA Annual Membership Meeting -9:00AM to 10:00AM

Location TBA

Jump-start the day with the CGA Board as they convene and discuss the agenda. The meeting is open to all CGA members.

 

Morning Tours -10:00AM to 12:00PM

Ready for some exploring? Join your classmates and tour various Cooperstown venues. Guests must pre-register for tour options.

Picnic Lunch and Puppet Show-12:00PM to 1:30PM

Fenimore Lawn, Fenimore Art Museum

Hungry yet? Gather for a lovely picnic lunch and enjoy the scenery by Lake Otsego at the Fenimore Art Museum. Families are invited to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon of music, puppetry, and balloon animals!

 

Or gather at the Otesaga for a delightful Food & Wine Pairing, sampling an array of savory items. Guests will pre-register for the Food & Wine Pairing.

 

Afternoon Tours -1:30PM to 3:30PM

Time for some learning! Guests are invited to visit the Fenimore Art Museum's exhibitions or attend a professional development workshop. Guests must pre-register for tour options.

Ready for a party? Join us for a Dinner Reception at the Louis C. Jones Center at The Farmers’ Museum. Beginning with cocktails at 6:00, guests will enjoy an evening of food, music, and memory making!

 

Sunday, October 12

Class Breakfasts -7:00AM to 11:00AM

Not ready to say goodbye? Classes are encouraged to organize and gather for a class breakfast and create one last memory of the weekend!
